I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Illustration (with a Printmaking minor) from Savannah College of Art and Design. I also have a Graphic Design certificate from Valencia College.

I am mostly an illustrator but have worked hard on developing my design skills (Intro to Typography kind of changed my life). I’ve been drawing for years — I was one of those kids who always doodled in my notebook during class — and I’ve had a personal portfolio site since 2003.

My best work happens when I follow a process from initial idea to finished product. Having a process helps me organize my ideas, experiment, and decide on a solution that works the best — from thumbnails > rough sketch > refined sketch > final painting.
